On Sunday, April 21, the Stonyman Gourmet Farmer chefs will demonstrate simply delicious ways to make impromptu savories for anytime eating, showcasing their fine farmstead cheeses and standout market ingredients at the Bethesda Central Farm Market.
The chefs will make Croque Monsieur & Croque Madame, and egg dishes that feature their cheeses and ingredients from vendors like MeatCrafters, Farm Market Bakery, Young Harvests, Bending Bridge Farm, and Vernon’s Seafood.
Chef Christopher Brown and Chef Drew Faulkner will be the ones preparing these savories for you. Chef Brown, of the Stonyman kitchen, graduated from Johnson & Wales and studied at the Cordon Bleu in Paris. He has worked in Maine, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Chef Faulkner, the consulting chef for Stonyman’s farm-to-table program, trained with Madeleine Kamman of L’Academie de Cuisine, and has worked professionally in California. She is also a culinary educator and food writer.
Stonyman Fromagère Susan James and the Stonyman team will provide cheese tastings throughout the morning. Come to the their tent to enjoy these delectable savories!
