On Tuesday, November 20th, we are holding our special Thanksgiving Market from 10am-2pm at Pike Central Farm Market. This market is located at 11806 Rockville Pike (between Old Georgetown and Montrose Rds.).  Over 20 of our vendors will be there with lots of fresh food, produce, breads, desserts & more that will help you plan for Thanksgiving.

If you prefer not to cook we have that covered too! Gepetto’s Catering and some of our other vendors will have prepared foods and desserts ready to eat. We have everything from Soup to Nuts! So have fun, which ever way you choose to serve dinner this year. Our flower vendors will also be there with centerpieces and much more to make your house festive for the holidays.

So here’s your shopping guide. All of the following vendors will be at the Special Thanksgiving Market on Tuesday, Nov. 20th at Pike Central.

Chow down on seasonal breakfast goodies from our newest vendor, the Culinary Nomad!

  • The Gobbler:  Sweet Potato & Turkey Sausage Hash topped with a Fried Egg & Goat Cheese
  • Apple Crisp French Toast: Thick Slices of Country bread dipped in a Cinnamon Scented Batter and griddled to perfection. Topped with House made Apple Butter, Maple Glazed Apples & Crumble Topping.

Heirloom Tomato – Tomato Soup. Made with those bright summer tomatoes, a rich, smooth and creamy texture – the taste that homemade tomato soup is known for.

Stonyman Gourmet Farmer

Whether your Thanksgiving is an elegant event or a causal buffet, cheese from Stonyman is the perfect way to please your guests. We recommend serving between 3-6 types of cheese to insures an interesting selection that won’t overwhelm or over-stuff your guests.

Liberty Delight Farms

Fresh (not frozen) Broad Breasted Whole Turkey – a hormone-free and antibiotic-free, free-range, sustainably raised bird. This bird is known for its tenderness and plumpness!

Sizes available: 12-14 lbs, 16-18 lbs, 20-22 lbs, 24-26 lbs and 27-30 lbs.

Walnut Hill Farm

Chicken special: buy a chicken that is 5 lbs (or more), and get charged for a 4 lb chicken.  They will also have Black Angus Beef and fresh eggs.

Springfield Farms

Turkeys – broad breasted white turkeys in the 12-25 lb. size range, heritage turkeys in the 6-12 lb. size range and turkey breasts in the 3-10 lb. size range (both bone-in and boneless).

Springfield is taking pre-orders from their website – no additional turkeys or turkey breasts will be available for the Thanksgiving Market on Tuesday, Nov. 20th.   The weight ranges are listed on the order form, for both the turkeys and the turkey breasts.

They will also have:

  • Sage pork sausage in bulk and in links – great for breakfast and stuffings
  • Lots of great eggs

  • Andouille…traditional Louisiana flavor

Fresh Fish

Vernon’s Seafood will have fresh fish at the market! Serve up salmon, cod or other delicacies as an addition to your Thanksgiving Dinner.


Fresh Fruits and Vegetables– plenty for your pies and side dishes

Toigo Orchards

Toigo Orchards’ McIntosh Cranberry Apple Sauce is a wonderfully flavored, tangy apple sauce that will compliment that roasted Turkey.

  • Fresh Pressed Honey Cider – for drinking and the turkey brine!

Twin Springs Fruit Farms

Sunshine Winter and Bon Bon Squashes; Sunshine is a Japanese Kabocha variety which is known for its’ sweetness and velvety texture. Bon Bon is a relatively new award-winning variety in the Buttercup family, which also cooks up sweet and smooth.

Vivaldi Potatoes- a new variety which is similar but superior in flavor and texture to Yukons. The variety is known in England – where it was developed – as the weight watcher potato, as it has significantly fewer calories than most other varieties!

They will also have Apple cider, Sweet potatoes, Gold Rush Apples, greenhouse tomatoes, and much more!

Mock’s Green House

Hydroponic, high tunnel and garden vegetables and fruits – try their bibb lettuce and heirloom tomatoes.  They will have fresh ginger (which you can use for brining recipes and desserts), which is more tender and more delicate than the ginger that is shipped to stores, and New Dill and Bread & Butter Pickles.

Dress it up Dressing

Salad fixings! Choose from four glamorous vinaigrettes: Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Chocolate Vinaigrette, Champagne Vinaigrette & Red Wine Vinaigrette.  There will also be gift sets – great to take as a hostess gift!

This is Pie Central for your holiday meals. They are the “pie masters” and their pies and cookies will wow your guests. Pre-order at the market or on their website.

Large Pies (9 inch, serves 6-8): $19
Small pies (6 inch, serves 2): $9


  • Pumpkin Pie: a classic, spiced pumpkin pie made with fresh local pumpkin filling, in a graham cracker crust.
  • Pumpkin Chocolate Swirl: their classic pumpkin pie with a swirl of homemade chocolate ganache, in a graham cracker crust.
  • Apple Pie: their classic apple pie, made with fresh local apples, in their flaky pie crust.
  • Caramel Apple Pie: Tart apples, mixed with their homemade salted vanilla caramel, in their flaky pie crust.

They will have both pecan pies, pumpkin pies and vegan pecan pies for sale that day with pre-orders due by the end of the Sunday market in Bethesda the week prior.   Also dinner rolls and breads as well.

Moorenko’s Ice Cream

Yes, that delicious ice cream is making a special appearance to top off your desserts. Flavors include:

This is where you will find those delicious Upper Crust Breads – a wide assortment of crusty fresh breads for any meal over the weekend. Challah makes a great french toast for your weekend breakfast.
